Charles “Lee” Bond is utilizing his extensive training and experience with investigations as one of our Lead Investigators at Piedmont Private Investigations. Originally from Portsmouth, VA, Lee has a wide-range of practice serving more than 20 years with the Portsmouth Police Department. Most recently before joining PPI, Mr. Bond established his credibility as the Homicide and Robbery Unit Commander with the Portsmouth Police. His superior title at this time was responsible for supervising all death and violent crimes against person’s investigations. He used his expertise in the field to create a “Cold Case Review Team” to determine the solvability of unsolved homicide cases. Additionally he implemented one of the most respectable systems in Virginia for efficient investigations of violent crimes against persons. Lee’s professionalism continued to stand out as he initiated the first program at Portsmouth Police Department designed to store old homicide and robbery case files electronically using a document imaging system.
